Brody Jenner And Josie Canseco Have Officially Called It Quits On Their Brief Romance

It looks like it was just a rebound after all. The Hills: New Beginning star Brody Jenner has officially split from Josie Canseco after dating for almost three months. The pair started their relationship just days after Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter called it quits on their relationship.

Both Jenner and Canseco have wiped their respective Instagram accounts clean of any traces of each other, and an insider told TMZ that they ended their relationship because they are on “different pages” in life. Jenner is a 36-year-old DJ and reality TV star who just ended a long term relationship with Carter, while Canseco is a 22-year-old model who is the daughter of former Oakland A’s star Jose Canseco.

Just a few days ago, Brody’s older brother Brandon revealed that he and his four-year-old daughter Eva – who he shares with ex-wife Leah Felder – had met Canseco, and things were going good in Brody and Josie’s relationship.

“She’s really sweet with Eva,” said Brandon. “They’ve met each other. That’s always a good thing for me. That’s always an important sign, when I see somebody is comfortable and willing to get in there and get on their level, and chat, and play with them and pick them up. So yeah, only good things so far!”

Brody’s mom Linda Thompson was also a big fan of Josie, telling Us Weekly last month that “she’s darling,” and she had met her several times. Thompson said that life moves on, and she explained that Brody and Josie bonded over their love of animals and their great senses of humor. She added that both Brody and Josie are “full of vinegar.”

Of course, Carter is now single too since she and Liam Hemsworth’s ex, Miley Cyrus, split after a whirlwind month-long romance. Carter and Cyrus couldn’t keep their hands off each other during an Italian vacation in August, and they continued to be hot and heavy for a couple of weeks once they got back to the States. However, they called it quits in mid-September, and Cyrus has now moved on to Cody Simpson.

Everyone is moving on so quickly that it’s nearly impossible for MTV to keep up. Brody has said that fans will be able to watch his split from Carter play out during Season 2 of The Hills: New Beginnings.

It’s still not clear if Brody Jenner’s brief romance with Josie Canseco will be a part of the MTV reality show’s new season.

The new season of The Hills: New Beginnings will premiere on MTV in 2020.
