Diva Cardi B showed anger and love all in one moment after Jermaine Dupri made some rather harsh comments about her and other female rappers.
In a new interview, the music producer, who is known for Xscape and created hits for Usher and Mariah Carey, said he was fed up with femcees always talking about being strippers and bragging about their private parts.

Talking to PEOPLE, he said: “I can’t really say. The only reason why I can’t say is because I feel they’re all rapping about the same things. I don’t think they’re showing us who’s the best rapper. I think they’re trying to show—for me; it’s like strippers rapping. And as far as rap goes, I’m not getting who’s the best rapper. I’m getting like, ‘OK, you got a story about you dancing in the club, you got a story about you dancing in the club, you got a story about you dancing in the club.’ It’s like, ‘OK, who’s going to be the rapper?’ At some point, somebody’s going to have to break out of that mold and just show us—talk about other things, just rap about other things besides that.”

Cardi B was not happy about the remarks, and she came out swinging in a video where she explained: “I have seen a lot of people sayin’ ‘Nowadays, female rappers only talk about they pu$$y and sh*t. And now that Jermaine Dupri bring it up, now I’m gonna say something about it, right,. First of all, I rap about my pu$*y because she’s my best friend, you know what I’m sayin’? And second of all, it seems like that’s what people wanna hear. I ain’t even gonna front, because let me tell you something: When I did ‘Be Careful,’ people was talking mad sh*t in the beginning, like, ‘What the f–k is this? This is not what I expected. I expected this, I expected that.’ So it’s like, if that’s what people ain’t tryna hear, then, alright, I’mma start rapping about my pu$$y again.”

Cardi B also took the opportunity to put the spotlight on a few talented rappers like Rapsody, Tierra Whack, Kamaiyah, and Chika Oranika who are deep and poetic.
One fan said: “This is what I’m talking about ! Not a lot of women with ur influence would share these hidden gems to the world. Ppl get selfish n self-centered. Not you! Ur, a queen 👏🏼✨”
Another follower stated: “See now this is what I’m talking about when people say “I hate Cardi B” that genuinely pisses me off, why do you hate her?😭 Because she had to grind nonstop to get where she is? Cause her hilarious and fun personality? Brutal honesty? Honestly, she gets hate for no reason.💯 Shesthe REALEST 💯 seeing her doing this just out of pure kindness of her heart and wants these rappers to go somewhere and shout them out so they can have a chance to be recognized? Most people that are at the top like her don’t do this often and if they do, it’s probably for 💰 she’s done so much to get here and that goes so overlooked, and I don’t think that’s right. She doesn’t pay people to write her lyrics 😭💯 she works so hard on every damn song she makes and the fact that “fans” of her don’t appreciate it and trash her name or a whole album over one song they didn’t vibe with is ABSURD. I’m so glad to see we have one real rapper 💯 I love you Cardi B!!!!!❤️”
