Courtney Act semi-nude wardrobe fail on Celebrity Big Brother

COURTNEY Act, the drag artist who shot to fame on season one of Australian Idol back in 2004 has suffered possibly the worst wardrobe malfunction of all time, live on air.

Courtney — real name Shane Jenek — was preparing to enter the Celebrity Big Brother enclosure in the UK when her heel caught on her long skirt, ripping it away and revealing all to the live studio audience.

The sudden wardrobe malfunction exposed Courtney’s “tuck” — the technical term drag queens use to hide their, er, gender origins when wearing tight fitting feminine garments.

A horrified Courtney grabbed at the loose fabric while making a hurried dash around the stage, before taking a moment to fix her skirt prior to entering the house.

“OMG,” host Emma Willis told viewers. “I think we’ve just peaked.”

Courtney was one of two men to enter the Celebrity Big Brother House. For the 21st season of the show, producers started with an all-female household in honour of the centenary of women’s suffrage in the UK, before the addition of male contestants a week later.

Courtney has a string of reality TV credits to her name.

In addition to her appearance on Australian Idol — she just missed making the final 12 — Courtney appeared on RuPaul’s Drag Race and the MTV reality show Single AF.
