The international audience trailer for the 2016 remake of Ghostbusters has just been released and we’re excited to see more of Chris Hemsworth.
The official release trailer for Ghostbusters was released on Friday 4th March which we wrote an article about and we noticed a short appearance from Thor star Chris Hemsworth. Now the international trailer has been released today and we are pleased to bring you the news that there is more Chris Hemsworth than we first thought!
Hemsworth will be playing Kevin, the receptionist who answers the calls from worried citizens of New York City about the paranormal goings on. The extra added clips we see feature Hemsworth sporting his Australian accent throughout the film! The two minute long international trailer starts very similar to the first release trailer, using the same clips and gags, but we are treated to some gags that weren’t released initially. Some of those funny moments include Hemsworth’s character drawing a logo for the ghost busting team and Leslie Jones’ character Patty Tolan suffering through a failed crowd-surfing attempt.
In the first trailer Kevin is only featured in three seconds of footage, we’re glad to say there has been an increase in footage for Chris by about 20 seconds and those 20 seconds make a huge difference, we can’t wait to see the full movie!
The new sound of the well recognised Ghostbusters theme tune is attention grabbing in its new format, almost as attention grabbing as Kevin’s idea for a ghost-busting team logo.
Have a look at the international trailer right here!
The remake stars Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Melissa McCarthy with cameo appearances from Sigourney Weaver and Bill Murray who were both part of the original movie.
