While Valerie Jarrett has always been in and around the media, 2018 saw her come into attention for all the wrong reasons. American actress Roseanne Barr tweeted about Valerie and mentioned the word ape. Valerie, who shares an African-American descent, stood against the racist remarks. Valerie, who worked as a senior advisor to U.S. President Barack Obama and assistant to the president for public engagement and intergovernmental affairs from 2009 to 2017, took the comment to heart and doubled up her efforts to root racism. So that her daughter, Laura Jarrett, does not have to face similar circumstances. A journalist by trade, Laura sits on the questioning side of the debate table. In this article, we will take a closer look at the wiki-bio of Laura Jarrett.
